Back home again after a fantastic week in Tignes running the Jagged Globe Off Piste Improvers week, along with my good friend Andy Jerram.
A mix of weather saw us searching out the cold chalky snow for the first 4 days, followed by 2 days of powder action in the cloud, with a good number of classic descents in Tignes and Val D'Isere through the week (not to mention a fine meal in the Clin D'Oeil in Tignes - best resort restaurant in the Alps?).
A big thanks to Grae, Derek, Mark, Lisa, Pierre, Andy, Kev, Giles, Anne, Rona and Steve for a great week - roll on next year!

Col Pers again, not bad conditions considering it hadn't snowed for a while...

Kev and Anne in Mickeys Ears, good chalky snow to be had in here early in the week:

2 weeks of BASI instructor exams to run in Zermatt now, so the blog will be quiet for a while, but check back soon for more off-piste conditions & information..!
